Meet Mrs. Ellison! |
Welcome to 3rd Grade!! My name is Mrs. Jodie Ellison and I will be your teacher this school year. This is my twelfth year teaching at County Line Elementary and I love being apart of the Critter Family. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from North Georgia College and State University and a master’s degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University.
I am married to a wonderful man, John. I have two beautiful children, Makenna who is 4 and Henry who is one. When I am not busy planning fun things for us to do at school, we enjoy spending time with our dear family and friends, being youth leaders in our church and travelling.
I believe that each child is unique (Yes, that means you J) and that each child learns in a different way. One of my jobs as your teacher is to help you discover your individuality and work with you to maximize it. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively, and learning through play. I am really looking forward to a fun-filled educational year!
I am very excited to get this school year started! I look forward to working with you and helping you learn, but I am most excited to see what you have to teach me in return (yes, teachers learn things too). Parents, you are your child’s first and best teacher and I look forward to working with you and cannot wait to see all that your child will accomplish this year.
Blessings,
Mrs. Jodie Ellison
